Le Mans (Francia), 15 june 2018. Cetilar Villorba Corse worked all through the night on the Dallara LMP2 number 47, gone off the track during the second qualifying session of the Le Mans 24 Hours. The entire Italian team coordinated by Raimondo Amadio reacted immediately, and the gola was straightaway to bring the prototype to the start of the race and allow Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Felipe Nasr to star in the most famous endurance race.
Le Mans (France), June 15, 2018. During the second qualifying session of the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans, because of a technical problem, the #47 Cetilar Villorba Corse Dallara P217 went off the track and the car sustained huge damages. Supported by Dallara, the whole team has immediately started to repair the prototype to be ready for the race, to be held on Saturday from 15:00hrs. Giorgio Sernagiotto, who shares the P217 with Roberto Lacorte and former F1 driver Felipe Nasr, was driving the car and after the accident he walked away on his own feet. The team is investigating through the reason of what exactly happened but, above all, they are working on fully repairing the car to be able to take part in the Saturday morning warm up and then in the most famous endurance race of the world.
In the first night sessions the Italian team's crew of Lacorte, Sernagiotto and Nasr leads between the Dallaras and sets 8th fastest time in LMP2 "A great job done by the three drivers ahead of the race". Today Q2 at 19:00 and Q3 at 22:00.
Le Mans (France), 14 June 2018. The intense work bringing Cetilar Villorba Corse closer to the start of the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours continues. In the first night qualifying sessions of Wednesday 13 June the first positive results came for the Italian crew formed by Pisa-born Roberto Lacorte, the driver from Treviso Giorgio Sernagiotto and the Brazilian former F. 1 driver Felipe Nasr on the Dallara P217 in LMP2 class. The prototype driven by the Gibson engine completed 28 laps of the 13.6 km track which will be the scene of the most famous 24-hour race from 15:00 on Saturday to the same time on Sunday, June 17. An excellent time achieved by Nasr in 3'27"993 at an average 235.8 Km/h. A time set by the F.1 driver on lap 2 of his 2nd stint after fitting a set of new tyres. Lacorte and Sernagiotto focused more on the race pace. Halfway through Giorgio Sernagiotto's stint, a puncture forced the venetian driver into an extra pit stop, where the team replaced the wheel and returned into pristine order the LMP2 prototype in record time.

Cetilar Villorba Corse will take part in the official test day ahead of the 86th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 16-17), which is the crucial event of the season for the squad led by Raimondo Amadio. On Sunday, June 3, the Italian team will be working both in the morning and in the afternoon session on the Dallara P217 Gibson that, for the first time in 2018 specifications, will also test the low-downforce configuration with Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and newcomer Felipe Nasr. While the two Italian drivers will be able to count on their 2017 experience, when the team ended the most important endurance race in the world with an incredible ninth position overall at their debut, the former F1 driver from Brazil will experience for the first time the legendary 13.629-kilometer track, arriving at Le Mans only on Sunday directly from Detroit, where the day before he will be participating in the fifth round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
An excellent performance by Lacorte, Sernagiotto and Nasr on the Dallara LMP2 at the forefront from qualifying compromised by a red flag at the end. A great comeback in two steps during the race (broadcast live on Sportitalia TV) allowed the team to cross the finish line of their home race in ninth position before the next important rendez-vous in Le Mans.

In Most the Italian team stands out with the Maserati GranTurismo in the new international series. Starting from first row in race 1, Fascicolo took the lead. After the pit stop Dall'Antonia in the fight for victory suffered a collision ending tenth. In race 2 excellent start by Dall'Antonia who climbed on the virtual podium and was then in a tight fight before handing the wheel to Fascicolo who finishes seventh, second in AM class.

Felipe Nasr joins Roberto Lacorte and Giorgio Sernagiotto behind the wheel of the #47 Cetilar Villorba Corse Dallara P217 Gibson starting from the second 2018 ELMS round at Monza. Brazilian driver was hired by the Italian team to replace Andrea Belicchi who suffered from back problems during the 4 Hours of Le Castellet that forced him to stop racing on the LMP2 prototype. Last November, Cetilar Villorba Corse already tested for more than 80 laps with Nasr at the Paul Ricard circuit covering about 500 kilometres on different setup and without any issues.
Under the Leaning Tower in Pisa Lacorte, Sernagiotto and Belicchi unveiled the LMP2 prototype that is going to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the European le Mans Series, starting from Monza these days: “The dream came true, now the real challenge begins”.
On Saturday, March 25 under such an exclusive place as the Leaning Tower in Pisa Cetilar Villorba Corse unveiled their Dallara P217 that will take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. In an auspicious rain, the entire Italian team presented their 2017 racing programme and the LMP2 prototype that will enter the legendary endurance race and the European Le Mans Series. Team principal Raimondo Amadio and racing drivers Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi unveiled the new sportscar next to Giampaolo Dallara and Pisa's mayor Marco Filippeschi. Dallara himself said: “For sure this is a fantastic group with good drivers and a professional team. We are confident about Le Mans and I believe that we will come back in Italy with a smile on our faces”.
During this unique ceremony Lacorte was awarded by his Municipality with one of its highest honour, the “Guerriero Pisano” (“Pisan Warrior”), dedicated to Pisan citizens who have distinguished themselves in the world. Cetilar Villorba Corse have appointed Christian Pescatori as their new sporting director for the 2017 LMP2 endurance programme. Second overall in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2001 and 2002, Italian driver and coach will flank team principal Raimondo Amadio as coordinator of the “Road to Le Mans” project that is already involving the crew formed by Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi at the wheel of the new Dallara LMP2 prototype. Pescatori's arrival at Cetilar Villorba Corse is a new step forward in the organization of the work and it also represents another piece of the puzzle to complete an all “made in Italy” racing programme.
The new sporting director will work alongside Amadio letting his wide experience available to the whole team; “I am really excited about this collaboration with Cetilar Villorba Corse - Pescatori says -. Being back to work on a programme that includes the cars of my dreams, prototypes, is a very inspiring situation. I have already talked with Amadio and the team, we are very motivated but also well aware that this season will be a huge undertaking for all of us”.

Italian team unveils its new Dallara LMP2 livery aiming to participate in the legendary 24 Hours alongside its full ELMS campaign with Belicchi / Lacorte / Sernagiotto.
After the announcement of the LMP2 entry with Dallara in 2017, Italian team will end the season in Portugal with Lacorte / Sernagiotto on their Ligier JS P3 Nissan. Villorba Corse will also line up a Ferrari 458 for french crew Mezard / Hiesse in the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup.
LMP2 entry with Dallara in 2017 still echoes, but Scuderia Villorba Corse is set and very much concentrated on the 2016 European Le Mans Series grand finale in Portugal. The event will be held at the Estoril racing circuit from October 21 to 23, when Roberto Lacorte and Giorgio Sernagiotto will alternate on their Ligier JS P3 Nissan. After the consistent performances shown at Le Castellet and Spa, Italian squad led by Raimondo Amadio aims to end the season in style with a positive result. The 4 Hours of Estoril will feature a large 37 car grid (19 LMP3s) that promises plenty of on track action. Italian team to take part in the final and crucial round at Zandvoort with Pro-class crew Anselmi / Zamparini and Polish Am-class pair formed by Chodzen father and son.
2016. Scuderia Villorba Corse is ready to take part in the final and crucial round of the Competition102 GT4 European Series with two Maserati GranTurismo MC. The championship showdown will be held in the Netherlands at Zandvoort from October 7 to 9. On this occasion the team led by Raimondo Amadio has a chance to fight for a final podium position in the standings with Luca Anselmi, who is battling also in the drivers' standings, and Patrick Zamparini, the Italian crew that clinched one victory and two pole positions during last round at the Hungaroring. “Finalraces” at Zandvoort are announced to be a very demanding racing weekend for them, who will share the #90 Maserati for the second time. Also the Am-class line-up remains the same with Polish Piotr and his son Antoni Chodzen together again. Track action starts on Friday with a 60-minute free practice session at 14h30. After a second practice session on Saturday, at 10h30, the team will qualify from 14h50 that same day. The two races will be held on Sunday, October 9. Race-1 will start at 10h00 while the race-2 at 15h00. Both races will be shown live at www.gt4series.com/live .
Team Principal Amadio says: “Zandvoort will not be an easy weekend as the Dutch circuit is tricky and very difficult but we are determined to get the best possible result to be able to end our first GT4 season as one of the top team of the category. In 2017 Scuderia Villorba Corse will boost its endurance racing programme moving from LMP3 to LMP2 category, where the Italian team will line up the new Dallara prototype. Collaborating with the famous Italian car manufacturer represents a crucial step for the “Road to Le Mans” project inaugurated by Villorba Corse in 2015. Still involved in 2016 European Le Mans Series, Roberto Lacorte, the mind of this project, will be one of the drivers competing in the championship also in 2017, this time in the top class. The names of the other two drivers involved in this LMP2 campaign will be announced soon.
